As wickedness and sin spread across the earth, God decided to wash away the corruption with a great flood but chose to save Noah, the only man who still obeyed Him. Following God’s detailed instructions, Noah built a massive ark to house his family and two of every kind of animal while others laughed at him. It rained for forty days and nights, covering even the highest mountains for 150 days until the ark finally rested on a mountain and the land dried. After leaving the ark, Noah praised God, and God placed a rainbow in the sky as a promise never to destroy the whole earth with a flood again.
