Solomon Uses His Wisdom

Two women living in the same house came to King Solomon to settle an argument over which one of them was the true mother of a living baby. Solomon suggested dividing the baby in two with a sword, which led the real mother to beg for the baby’s life even if it meant losing him. By this reaction, Solomon identified the true mother and returned the child to her, leaving all of Israel amazed at his divine wisdom.
