While traveling to Jericho, Jesus encountered a blind man named Bartimaeus who cried out for mercy and was healed immediately because of his faith. Later, Jesus healed ten men with leprosy who asked for help, though only one of them returned to praise God and give thanks for his healing. These stories illustrate that faith is trusting and believing in Jesus and that His mercy is a gift of love for those who call on Him.
