A Wife For Isaac

After the death of Sarah, Abraham wanted to ensure his son Isaac married a woman from his own relatives, so he sent his servant back to his homeland to find a wife. The servant prayed for a specific sign: that the right woman would offer water not only to him but also to his camels. Rebekah appeared at the well and did exactly what the servant had prayed for, revealing she was the daughter of Abraham’s nephew, Bethuel. With her family’s blessing, Rebekah traveled to Canaan to meet Isaac, who loved her dearly and found comfort in her after the loss of his mother.
