The Tower Of Babel

Years after the flood, the descendants of Noah’s sons all spoke the same language and decided to settle together in one place rather than spreading across the earth as God intended. They began building a great city and a tall tower to reach the heavens, seeking to make themselves famous and remain united by their own choice. Seeing their disobedience and pride, God intervened by mixing up their languages so they could no longer understand one another. Unable to communicate, the people stopped their construction and eventually scattered to different parts of the world, fulfilling God’s original plan.
