After her husband and sons died in Moab, Naomi decided to return to Bethlehem, and Ruth chose to stay with her, declaring that Naomi’s God would be her God. While gleaning in the fields for food, Ruth met Boaz, a kind relative of Naomi who protected her and eventually married her. Their son Obed became the grandfather of King David, showing how God uses faithful love and loyalty in His greater plan.
