Gideon and the 300 Men

To ensure Israel knew the victory was from Him, God instructed Gideon to reduce his army from 32,000 men to just 300 through specific tests. These 300 men surprised the Midianite camp by blowing trumpets and breaking jars while shouting, “For the Lord and for Gideon!”. The confused Midianites began fighting one another, allowing Gideon’s small force to capture their leaders and bring forty years of peace to the land.
