Isaac Is Born

God called Abraham and his wife Sarah to leave their home for the land of Canaan, promising to make them a great nation with descendants as numerous as the stars. Although they were very old—Abraham was one hundred and Sarah was ninety—three visitors confirmed that they would have a son within a year. Sarah initially laughed in disbelief at the idea of having a child at her age, but God reminded her that nothing is too hard for the Lord. True to His word, Isaac was born the following year, bringing great joy and laughter to his parents as a testament to God’s faithfulness.
